BORIS LEVYANT ENTERED THE JURY OF THE NATIONAL PRIZE IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION "ECO_TEKTONIKA"
The commission of the jury of the National Prize in the field of ecological design and construction "Eco_Tektonika" included one of the leading green architects of Russia - Boris Levyant. And this is not accidental. After all, the architectural bureau ABD architects, whose general director is Boris Vladimirovich, was one of the first to follow the global trends of green design, to introduce it into their projects, and at the moment has a unique practical experience in implementing similar design tasks in Russia.
The first office, which received the LEED gold certificate in Moscow, was the headquarters of Siemens, which ABD architects designed in 2011. The building is certified in its entirety. The assessors identified several important aspects of the eco-efficiency of the new office: its accessibility for public, motor and bicycle transport, the efficiency of water resources use (reduction of water consumption by 36%), ecological optimization of energy costs (in particular, cooling and heating systems), minimization of negative impact On the atmosphere with energy savings and the costs of their consumption (about 46%), the application of new principles and innovations in the office concept and the high quality of internal cp Food in the premises themselves.
Another project of the company - the office of the IT division of Deutsche Bank - received the LEED gold certificate for efficient use of resources and high energy-saving characteristics. Today the workshop has several new projects, which are planned to be certified according to international green standards.
"We are not the first year since we are members of the Russian Council for Environmental Construction, and our employees are regularly trained and upgraded to international LEED and BREEAM standards," Boris Levyant comments on the situation. - When we began to dive into this direction, we realized that there is one purely "external" history in green construction, which everyone now speaks of - climate change, ecology, etc., but there is - and this is just the invisible of the iceberg, which is associated with financing and growth of the capitalization of the facility. And green solutions are really very effective tool for capitalization of the building, and not using it would be rather strange. But, unfortunately, for the present it is not obvious for all designers and customers. Therefore, today our industry needs a huge educational programs in the field of environmental construction”.
