Project Overview
Avito is one of Russia’s largest free classifieds platforms. Since 2013, the company has occupied two floors in the Class A White Gardens business center.
In early 2016, it expanded by leasing two additional floors (15th and 10th, including a 170 m² terrace on floor 15), totaling 4,200 m².
Spatial Organization
The office prioritizes teamwork: layout and furniture encourage interaction and collaboration. Multiple varied zones accommodate groups of 2–12 people, matching project team sizes — no two are identical.
Features include a hammock, round lifebuoy bench for brainstorming, “hold” and “submarine bridge” areas, plus a “bosun’s back” meeting room with tanned leather walls and nautical tattoos.
The “work hard – play hard” motto is fully realized. Beyond workstations: spacious gym with showers, billiards room, massage chair lounge, games room with foosball and console, climbing wall, equipped kitchens, and a large cafeteria serving the entire team. Circular chandeliers above tables feature celestial constellations.
The 15th floor is multifunctional: cafeteria with expansive dining hall, conference rooms, event spaces, and several workstations.
The conference center offers spacious meeting rooms with mobile furniture and advanced tech for meetings, training, and presentations.
Adjacent flexible lobby supports pre/post-meeting mingling.
Sliding partitions merge meeting rooms, lobby, and cafeteria into a single venue for hundreds — tables lift to the ceiling via yacht-style winches, freeing space for events without rearrangement.
Design Concept
The office interior evokes adventurous sea voyages. Work zones in blue, red, yellow, and green are divided by glass partitions, mobile flipchart screens, and two-level soft sleeping pods resembling a ship’s hold.
Yacht-inspired elements are functional, not merely decorative.
Glass partitions use yacht porthole sun-protection film: reflective outside for privacy, transparent inside.
Typical yacht white gloss is executed in whiteboard paint — most walls are writable.
Artists hand-painted walls across both floors.
Quiet nap capsules (“torpedo tubes”) feature round entrances, mattresses, ventilation, and lighting — stacked two-high for rest or focused work.
Acoustic Comfort
Noise control received meticulous attention. Loud activities (discussions, billiards, sports) are zoned away from focused work, with specialized flooring and partitions.
Real nautical ropes serve as sound-absorbing material in select areas.
