About Project

For a long history of its existence, the stadium "Dynamo" has experienced more than one reconstruction. The new concept of development and reconstruction of the sports complex "Dynamo" provided for the revision of buildings for various purposes scattered throughout the territory of the Petrovsky Park.
To solve such a complex set of tasks, as well as to develop the most modern project proposal, at the end of 2009 the management of VTB Bank offered to hold an international competition.

ABD architects developed a concept together with the American company Perkins Eastman Architects. The concept takes into account not only the needs of the visitors of VTB Arena and VTB Hall, but also the interests of the residents of residential quarters adjacent to Petrovsky Park, and included in their analysis the projected office and hotel block on the site between the Petrovsky Park and the Third Transport Ring.
